Challenge – Redesign the PMIEF website so that it is responsive while utilizing existing brand guidelines.
Solution – As the wireframes were being finalized, I started on the visual design of the PMIEF website. In their previous site there were many areas where typography was on top of images in ways that affected legibility. My solution was a card based design approach in which image and typography were always separate from one another.
The floating card component became the basis for the responsive design system that flowed through all pages of the site.
